Welcome to Dalton-Ellis Hall which is one of the Halls of Residence owned by the university of Manchester. During term-time it is home to around 280 undergraduate and postgraduate students of The University of Manchester.

This section of the web site is intended as an introduction to the staff, traditions and features of the Hall, as well as giving you a guide to the rules and conventions which make the Hall function smoothly and efficiently. Like the rest of the Universities, our aim is to provide a broad education and to allow you to develop positive talents, but this only works if you accept the conventions of community life and are prepared to contribute to it.
